Projects in Process
Here are some projects Rebecca is currently working on and looking forward to releasing in the next year or two, depending on the leading and guidance of her partner in all things including writing, the Holy Spirit.
Ransomed Art is a book consisting of hostage-note-style art with a discussion of the inspiration and major elements in the art. Each art piece is a fierce message from the hostage to her captors and tormentors letting them know that there will be consequences and that she will not remain a victim.
The Ransomed Art collection was born out of Rebecca’s silenced voice long buried in the dark, lonely prison of her abandoned and abused soul.
She cannot be silenced any longer. She has been set free, and she must speak of the things that burn within her soul.
A book of poetry about and in response to spiritual warfare.
From the back cover:
Wielded against me
In the hands
Of my enemy
This poem is a mash up of several scriptures: Isaiah 54:17, Ephesians 6:12, Luke 10:19, Romans 8:37 and, last but not least, 1 Samuel 17:41-54 in which David kills Goliath with a sling and a stone, takes Goliath’s own sword and beheads him, and then takes Goliath’s weapons to keep for David’s own.
Oh yeah, and that event described in each of the four gospels where the devil used a cross to kill Jesus, but then Jesus used that weapon, death, to defeat the devil, rise three days later from the grave by the power of the Holy Spirit and extend the gift of salvation, eternal life and reconciliation to God to ALL people who choose to believe and receive this gift.
This novel is a story of what God can do with even something as small as only a remnant of humanity left in a person. There is nothing that God cannot restore and heal a person from. God can do anything. He can work a miracle out of what seems like utterly nothing. He can breathe new life, hope, love and freedom into anyone who will let Him into their heart and life.
This is a beautiful story of redemption, of a life rescued from the shattered havoc of darkness and patiently, painstakingly pieced together into what will become a wondrous, captivating masterpiece of light and love. A revelation of Glory.
